The Lodge Oil Lamp is the larger companion to our Cabin and Tree House Oil Lamps. Its beautiful curves and simple design make it a wonderful accent for any décor. Made from the finest lead-free pewter and fitted with a fine quality burner and custom chimney. Handcrafted in our Vermont workshop, this oil lamp comes in a gift box with instructions and care card. Holds approximately 25 ounces and is 15″ high with glass chimney, 5 1/2″ diameter. Oil burns at approximately 3 hours per ounce (based on smokeless liquid paraffin oil.)

The Danforth family started working in pewter in 1755, when Thomas Danforth II opened a pewter workshop in Middletown in the colony of Connecticut. In the mid 1700’s, Thomas and other members of the Danforth family used lion touchmarks to identify their work. Two hundred twenty years later, Fred (great-great-great-great grandson of Thomas) and Judi Danforth revived the family tradition by founding Danforth Pewter in Vermont
