This year, 2016, is the 40th anniversary for Department 56. To celebrate, they have created a special building just for their Platinum Dealers. Forty years ago, a group of friends enjoyed a holiday dinner in Stillwater, Minnesota. Charmed by the winter beauty of this quaint town during the holidays, the friends were inspired to recreate this memory and share it for always. The Original Snow Village was begun. Old St. John’s is a perfect representation of Stillwater and its many majestic and iconic churches. Bottom stamp and packaging include the Platinum Key Mark. Gold Cross is placed into the top of the steeple.
