When Earp movied to Tombstone with his brothers, Virgil and James, they clashed into outlaw Cowboys. Tomb McLaury, Frank McLaury, Billy Clanton, and Ike Clanton threatened to kill the Earps for their involvement in law enforcement. The conflict grew up to the next year where the Earps and Doc Holiday killed 3 of the coybows. He earned the reputation of the “toughest and deadliest gunman of his day”.
