The Sea Stones Drink Chillers – Set of 2 puts your drink on the rocks, literally. Simply place the glasses within the solid granite coasters into the freezer a minimum of two hours before serving. The granite cubes keep your beverages chilled, without adding unwanted taste or watering down the drink. Coasters can be wiped clean with water. Created with FDA food-safe solid granite and recycled glass. This set makes it so easy to be a good host! Sea Stones, LLC, is based in Windham, New Hampshire, close to the rocky New England beaches and rivers that shape the stones used in the company’s designs. Engineer/furniture maker Arra David and artist Anne Johnson partnered in 2004 to bring the beauty of nature into homes, while still leaving America’s shores and forests unchanged. With permission, the company collects stones from private beaches and rivers. When a stone is taken, it’s always replaced by a new stone that’s been purchased from a quarry to harvest under the New England water for future gatherers. David and Johnson believe that bringing natural materials indoors as functional art keeps the world connected with Mother Earth.
